Pickup: Schedule Games app for iPhone and iPad

Pickup: Schedule Games is an app designed to connect you to other people in your area interested in playing a pickup sport at any location (school, park, gym, etc.). The app allows a person to create a public sporting event such as pickup soccer, basketball, tennis, etc. at any location at a certain date/time. Any person can search a location on the map, tap on the location, and see the events scheduled at that location. Anyone can join the event by responding to the event. The event organizer can put a cap on the maximum number of players allowed for an event. All users of the app can see who all have joined an event.

The app provides all popular sports such as basketball, soccer, tennis, badminton, lacrosse, football, volleyball, and baseball. The app comes pre-built with some default locations. A user can add custom locations which are visible to all users. The app also allows a user to send a friend request to another user who can either accept or reject the friend request; if invitation is accepted, they become friends. Event Organizer can send an invite to a friend to join an event. The app allows every person to maintain a public profile where the person can enter the sports he/she is interested in and his/her preferred locations.

The app works only in the 50 states of United States of America.
